Someone must have hidden boulders in my shins!

Okay so when I read this WOD on our FB page last night I wasn't intimidated at all. Actually was looking forward to it. When I woke up however, it was a different story. My shins....are SOOOOO sore from running Monday!  It really feels like someone must have lodged a huge rock in between my shin bone and my muscle. I thought I was over this intense soreness, but I was completely mistaken.

I would not call my three 400m runs, runs. It was a LAME attempt of gliding around on the balls of my feet to avoid the excruciating pain coming from my shins. I'm thankful for the holiday tomorrow because I'm taking a recovery day. My legs need it. 

I tried to swing the prescribed 35lb kettlebell one time. HAHAHA!  Who'd have thought 10 ponds would make such a difference!  I'll be sticking with the 25lbs for a while. 

Pull ups kicked my rear as usual. I did them though :-)  Today was the first day CrossFit has made me want to cry. I was very frustrated with the pull ups situation, but more so with my legs. I can't even believe how bad they hurt. I have since taken a hot jacuzzi bath and have had some time to relax. I feel good :-) Maybe it's cause I know I can rest tomorrow? ;-) Have a Great Independence Day everyone!!
